Description:The “Business Research Launch Pad” is a web resource developed by UMD Business Librarian, Jim Vileta. It contains links and sources of business information in more than 70 web pages and hundreds of categories.
The site is designed to support the research needs of the students, staff and faculty of UMD's Labovitz School of Business and Economics and the UMD Center for Economic Development. Links in this site direct users to freely available Internet content, UMD Library's proprietary databases, or books and videos vital to business research.
Area citizens can obtain guest passes to use computers in the UMD Library to access much of this information. Library courtesy cards can be obtained after presenting photo identification, allowing local residents to check out UMD Library books, periodicals and videos.
University of Minnesota Duluth Business Research Launch Pad serves the Northland, Arrowhead, Duluth MN Superior WI MSA, Aitkin, Carlton, Cook, Itasca, Koochiching, Lake, and St. Louis county areas.
