Description:The Two Harbors Development Commission (THDC) is a non-profit corporation, which promotes economic development within and surrounding the City of Two Harbors. The THDC provides loans and other financial assistance primarily to businesses which would locate or expand in the area, but are experiencing difficulty in obtaining adequate or appropriate financing from traditional sources.
Loans or other financial assistance provided by THDC are intended to do the following:
-Create and maintain permanent private sector jobs, expand the tax base and increase economic activity,
-Create the impetus or spark to allow a project to proceed.
Two Harbors Development Commission serves the Northland, Arrowhead, and Lake county areas.
