Description:Reyelts Law Firm and its predecessors have a history dating back to the 1940s, and the firm has been actively involved in representing defendants for insurers since the 1950s. We have worked for approximately 25 different insurers.
We have defended claims throughout the State of Minnesota, we understand the claims process, the litigation process, the value of Alternative Dispute Resolution and the importance of being able to effectively try cases to a jury.
We have built long-term relationships with insurers. We report on a regular basis on the status of claims, including our analysis of the impact of developments on the claim. We look at the “big picture”.
We are responsive to requests by insurers for answers to specific questions or research on specific issues.
We regularly participate in “round-table discussions” with insurers, and we are receptive to attending meetings and providing information as requested.
Our team consists of three lawyers, Steve Reyelts, Julie Benfield and Daryl Fuchihara, along with Paralegals Vicki Hill, Barb Sinkkonen and Natalie Hoff, and our Office Administrator Jean “Peanut” Rufer. Steve Reyelts will take the lead with respect to each case and coordinate the work of the team. He has 34 years of experience in defending cases in Minnesota, and enjoys and excellent reputation throughout the state.
