Description:Northland Connection is a regional marketing, business recruitment and data management program of The Northspan Group, Inc. of Duluth. Launched as Arrowhead Business Connection in 1987 as a marketing and direct business recruitment program, Northland Connection has successfully attracted or helped to attract more than a dozen new businesses to the area, creating approximately 2,000 new jobs.
Northland Connection’s regional partners have come to rely on the data and commercial real estate expertise its staff brings to economic development. The centerpiece of Northland Connection is its award-winning online portal, NorthlandConnection.com. This website hosts a series of databases, each housing relevant, up to date data, including available real estate, education, labor, infrastructure, industry, incentives and the attributes that enhance quality of life in the region.
Northspan staff updates NorthlandConnection.com daily and remains on hand to assist with any searches for information. Northland Connection is also committed to seeking out new ways to deliver credible information through technology advances that evolve each year. An advisory committee of stakeholders from across the region meets regularly to discuss regional development.
Northland Connection serves the Northland, which consists of seven counties in northeast Minnesota (Aitkin, Carlton, Cook, Itasca, Koochiching, Lake, and St. Louis) plus Douglas County, Wisconsin.
