The Grand Rapids Economic Development Authority (GREDA) works with its partners to encourage the growth and development of existing and new business and industry, aimed towards the creation of quality jobs in the City of Grand Rapids.
In fulfilling its mission, the GREDA uses all appropriate development tools and methods provided under State Statute and enabling resolutions enacted by the City of Grand Rapids. Such activities include, but are not limited to, the use of public funds to acquire and develop lands for the location and expansion of industry.
The GREDA also produces an Annual Report that outlines the year's economic development highlights for Grand Rapids.
The GREDA is a seven-member body comprised of five volunteer citizens/business persons, and two City Council members. The GREDA holds two regularly scheduled meetings per month, at the City Hall, on the second and fourth Thursdays, at 4:00 pm.
Grand Rapids Economic Development Authority serves the City of Grand Rapids.
