Description:Carlton County Economic Development Authority acts in an advisory capacity to the County Board of Commissioners and
provides assistance to local economic development initiatives, including:
- Loan and grant administration
- Business recruitment and expansion
- Strategic planning
- Prospect marketing
- Land use planning and development
Serving Carlton County and the Arrowhead region, its objectives are to:
- Develop, encourage, promote and protect the business interests of the Carlton County area
- Encourage the development of the county’s employment and tax base
- Provide centralized services for local development corporations, developers, and businesses
