Transport & Logistics

Air travelers can access daily flights from Minneapolis-St. Paul via the Range Regional Airport in nearby Hibbing. The park is an hour north of Duluth, the area’s commercial and transportation hub with the #1 volume seaport on the Great Lakes. Highway 53, with four-lane access to the continental U.S., is a half hour away.

Minnesota Power has the expertise to create custom proposals for electricity, steam, compressed air, and deionized water. The City of Hoyt Lakes’ water capacity is 1.5 million gallons per day; the wastewater capacity is 650,000 gallons per day. Minnesota Energy Resources has a four-inch main for its natural gas customers in the park. The park is served by a two-lane, nine-ton road.
