Why the Northland?
Two (2) Northland telecommunications companies, Enventis Telecom and Qwest, can provide dedicated access to fiber optics to a specific location. The level of service is T1 through OCX. Ten (10) additional companies provide high speed Internet and wide area connectivity. These providers are linked to the Chicago Network Access Point (NAP), the largest Internet exchange point by volume. Redundancy includes a SONET ring for urban communities in the region. |
