  Poplar Village

The Village of Poplar (2008 pop. est. 620) is historically a farming community located on U. S. Highway 2 in northwestern Wisconsin. Its major employer is General Mills.

Hometown of World War II Hero Richard I. Bong, known as "America's Ace of Aces," Poplar is a pleasant location to live and work. Commercial building sites are available along Highway 2 and growing companies can access the Douglas County Revolving Loan Fund.
